Key technology of nonwoven dry seedling
1. Select non-woven fabrics
Special reinforced agricultural non-woven fabric is selected, which will not break when exposed to the farmland environment. The specification of non-woven fabric is 47g ~ 48g / m2, the width is about 3.20M, the length is general, and it should be 1m longer than the seedbed.
2. Variety (combination) selection
Non woven dry seedling cultivation has no special requirements for varieties (combinations). At present, varieties (combinations) suitable for conventional dry seedling cultivation can be selected. Generally speaking, the varieties with medium or late maturity can give full play to their yield increasing potential. If the sowing date of early rice is advanced, the varieties with strong cold resistance at seedling stage should be selected.
 
Second, advantages and disadvantages
1. Special non-woven fabric and microporous natural ventilation. The highest temperature of the film is 9 ~ 12 ℃ lower than the plastic film coverage, and the lowest temperature is only 1 ~ 2 ℃ lower than the plastic film. The temperature is stable to avoid the phenomenon of high-temperature seedling burning under the plastic film coverage.
2. The rice seedlings are covered with special non-woven fabric, the humidity changes greatly, and the seedlings do not need manual ventilation, which can significantly save labor and reduce labor intensity.
3. Non woven fabrics have water permeability. Rainwater enters the seedbed soil through non-woven fabrics. It is impossible to use natural rainfall and agricultural film, so as to reduce watering times and save water and labor.
4. The non-woven cover seedling is short, firm, neat, with many tillers, upright leaves and dark leaves.
5. Reduce environmental pollution. The service life of non-woven fabric for rice seedlings is 3 years, which is equivalent to agricultural film. However, because it is made by hot pressing of polypropylene matrix spinning machine, it is easier to degrade than agricultural film under the physical action of sunlight. In addition, it is breathable and permeable. Even if some sundries enter the soil, it will not cause the negative impact of hindering the transmission of soil water and nutrients like agricultural film. Therefore, the pollution to the environment is much lower than that of plastic film.
6. Improve the unit yield of rice. As non-woven dry seedlings are strong, it is conducive to improve rice yield, which is generally increased by 2 ~ 5%.
7. The light transmittance of non-woven covering layer decreases, and the light transmittance of plastic film covering layer and non-woven covering layer account for 76% and 63% of atmospheric light respectively, with little difference between them. Under the condition of water seedling, it accounted for only 61% and 49% of atmospheric light, respectively. It may be that the soil moisture of seedlings is significantly higher than that of dry seedlings, resulting in more dew condensation, poor air permeability and low light. Non woven covering is suitable for drying seedlings.
